NeuroVote was founded in 2019 by Heather Macomber, a PhD student in Neurobiology at the University of Chicago.
She created NeuroVote to inform citizens of their representative’s opinions and support for neuroscience research.
In her research, she studies learning and memory through teaching mice to navigate in virtual reality, then using light to image their neural activity.
